Wow, that is only $0.90 a litre. Wish our gas was that cheap. We are paying $1.27 a litre right now here in Alberta.

Getting way off topic but couldn't agree more. My comment was along the lines of what is happening today. The school system today turns out kids that can't even spell or use proper grammar. Their education today is more like programming than being taught to look at different viewpoints and evaluate them. I thank the parents that are pushing back against what truly is propaganda.

Re- Gas Prices Headed For A Spike
Here in Vancouver British Columbia Canada -our GAs prices here have hit 1.70 per liter of Gas roughly $6.80 per gallon.
They blame it on supply and Demand. Most of our Gas is imported from Washington State or from Alberta . With no modern refineries in the Vancouver Area we have to rely on refineries in other areas to supply the needs of this area .
The Federal Government is pushing thru a pipeline to transport Bitumen Oil from the Alberta Tar Sands to Vancouver Which will be exported abroad to other country refineries , which they should be refining here . Why not build a modern refinery either in Vancouver or Alberta and Refine the oil here and market it abroad and giving the locals a break in the fuel prices .
Vancouver BC has the highest gas prices in all of North America right now.
. A large percentage of the fuel price is Government Taxes to fund transportation projects , the carbon Tax which is a Federal Tax imposed by the Ottawa(the Joke of this is ,Justin "Turd Doe" our Prime Minister and Leader in Canada is trying to reduce carbon emissions to look good on the world stage yet they bought a pipeline project which the tax payers are funding ) ,and numerous other hidden Taxes .
Anyone wanting to explore "Super Natural BC" as they say in the commercials , should think twice about coming here ,unless they have deep pockets to fund their trip for the fuel .
We have no choice but pay what they demand . with no competition between the competing Gas Companies . Its become a monopoly and no one gets a break .
My rant about Fuel Prices in Vancouver BC Canada .

Yeah, you guys in BC have always gotten hit hard with fuel prices. I remember a couple years ago when I went to the Island. The price of gas was about 35 cents a litre more than in Alberta.

Anyone who spends more than 5 minutes perusing the Epoch Times and their stated origin/mission, or researching its articles ought to know that, yet so many Americans believe it hook line and sinker. Yet again, my research of what The Epoch Times reported found it to be lacking in credibility and veracity, and seething with fear mongering propaganda. Not being a print media, it is not even useful for potty training puppies.

Haven't found a media outlet anywhere that doesn't have an agenda.

If it is not obvious to you what changed 6 months ago , who changed it and why I shall not waste my time explaining it. American oil production was stopped on purpose, PERIOD.

A $90,000 Tesla S wont pull my camper and if and when electric cars become more prevalent the current electric grid will fail as it is not designed to take a 40% increase in usage. Brown outs are already occurring in California. There is a place for electric cars but they are not the do all for every situation.

Use of electric cars avoids revenue for roads and highways.
In Texas we pay around $.45 per gallon, California almost $.70 per gallon for the maintenance of the highways. Feds get an additional $.20 on gas and about $.25 on diesel.
On the bright side of high gas and diesel cost, is that the RV resorts will not be as crowded.

Hopefully battery technology will improve and batteries will last longer, give more range and cost less. My Titan is not even a year old add I expect my next vehicle will be electric. Battery longevity is already good, I read about batteries in the Prius lasting 8 to 10 years.

Was reading last night on LiFePo4 batteries. Projected number of cycles is now projected to be as much as 10,000. Depending of course on depth of discharge but compare that with other Lithium chemistry that is more like 2,000 cycles.
A note on earlier post regarding $6 gas in BC, that's only $4.88 USD. Not so terrible if bringing "Benjamins" with you when visiting.

I spent a few minutes looking into Epoc Times, and decided that anything that the CCP outlaws in their country is worth a second look.
Critical thinking is about seeing all points of view, even the ones one does not agree with.

I want to be able to comfortably Boondock and also have a better selection of sites. Hard enough needing a pet site. I still have all the equipment to cook & store food. But I am having trouble understanding what I need for our comfort without shore power. I have no problem using a fan versus the AC because I have a hybrid type trailer with 3 queen tent ends that allow wonderful airflow. My pups love the view. Using AC, their views would be zipped up. I have propane, what else do I need that's easy?

You've pretty much got it covered. A place to sleep out of the weather, a refrigerator, stove, water.
All i see missing is a way to reliably charge batteries for lights, refrigerator (controls), furnace when needed, and water pump.
Either a small solar panel kit or small, quiet, generator can certainly be a benefit for trips more than two or three days. Battery charging doesn't require more than a small generator providing 1,000-1,500 watts and if you have to choose between solar and small generator, remember that the generator will charge even on totally overcast days or in shade. Some small generators are not much more, dollar wise, than many portable solar kits capable of charging batteries in a day.

School systems have my blood boiling.
Because of the plandemic, my kids were at home for 3/4 of the school year. My son FAILED every class because of it. He NEEDS in class schooling because, like me, he suffers from mind drift. If no one is there to bring him into focus, he goes off into fantasy land. He should be repeating 8th grade, but they promoted him anyway. Every day I watched him, though I am working from home 9 hours, I check up, and he is focused on the laptop screen, but no clue where his mind was at.
My Daughter did very well, Chemistry busted her ass, but it was mainly the teacher that was the issue, she would make assignments after class was over, and instead of actually teaching, she had them watching videos. I could have done that!
Worse yet, instead of a full 5 day week, they spent 4 days, 4 classes a day during that time. When they physically went back to school it became 2 days a week of schooling. So not only did they get very little education this past year, they let a failing student go to the next grade. Why bother sending them to school if this is how they are being taught?
Alright, enough ranting. Back to the regular scheduled programming.

Within the next few years the Ford F-150 Lightning will join the Tesla Cybertruck and folks with 5ers and tag-alongs will have some options. You can also charge your tow vehicle at the Campground 50AMP pedestal.
Tesla's new tabless battery cells, which Tesla is calling 4860 cells, will give the company’s EV batteries five times more energy capacity, make them six times more powerful, and enable a 16 percent range increase for Tesla’s vehicles. When the new batteries are pervasive, y'all can say goodbye to ICE (internal combustion engines) and gas station gougers.

And when the batteries die, where do they all go?

The musk guy can learn something about style
Been eyeing the Hummer and disappointed in the non dino-juice option. Why they're rolling out the half a car option first with a worthless bed is beyond me. Didn't they learn with the H2 HUT? Almost pulled the trigger an a 2009 H2 but then they were being discontinued.
The problem with this one is the 300 mi. range claim and not due until '23. Show stopper for me.
No mention of tow ability...even 2 years out. They're probably too scared to say towing would take it down to 150 mi. All that potential power, wasted.
