My time spent here on this forum isn't to point someone out as ignorant but rather to give advice via the 40+ years of things I've seen/experienced while camping. (even though you didn't believe I was giving advice)

In MY posts, I never made references to bumping someones head or falling off a cabbage truck, nor resorted to point out people could be morons...those are all words you wrote and I suppose you were actually trying to express something to me as well .... so you see... the written word can certainly take on many aspects.

In any case... again my apologies.

I promise to not reply to ANY of your future posts. You have my word on that. (written!)

5picker-

Sometimes it's like when you've been working hard all day and you stop in a tavern for a cold brew. You have nothing on your mind and are just staring off at nothing at all, enjoying the cool, fizzy, liquid and than --------- you hear an angry voice saying to you "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT".

In short, there's always someone that is a little bit too "touchy" and are willing to see an argument (or fist fight) when you're just enjoying doing nothing.

I'm with you. When offering help based on years of experience no way do I imply the other party (or anyone reading) is stupid. I just put it out there and if it helps, great. If not, someone else will probably explain it differently and the person needing help will get it.

FWIW, I've been called "stupid" by lots of people, many of which are conversant with that condition.
