Good morning everyone. Last night we had brushes with tornado bearing storms but no damage. Those are very rare here as the mountains usually break up the storms before they get here. Finally got a lot of much needed rain though. Highs in the 50's today with a little wind.

Have a good one everyone.

Good morning FRF, I hope everyone had a good day on Wednesday, I did until I got home from work. One of our Greyhounds was having a problem with his left rear leg, he could hardly move, we rushed him to the vets to find out that our 95lbs gentle giant developed bone cancer and had to be put down. The cancer was moving rapidly, how and why we don't know but it is the number one killer of Greyhounds. We lost our first one about 21/2 years ago and my wife took it very hard, it took her a year to get over him, this one has me choked up. We have one more left and he is 85lbs lbs 10 years old and now alone. So when you get up in the morning enjoy the wag of your pets tail and the gleam in there eye when they see you for the first time of the day because you never know. I am sorry to bring sadness in the early morning, but I just needed to vent..... Thanks Forest River Forum being here!

Sorry for your loss rockwood...
We just went through the loss of our German Shepherd a couple months ago. He and I were best buds...and it really hurt. I still miss him everyday. Hang in there...

Thanks again, the one we just lost is the one on the left is name was Stretch and the one in the middle his name was Bandit, we lost him 21/2 years ago, the one on the right his name is Joe-Joe, he is the last one, so far doing ok but seems to be sad. We hope we can get him to snap out of it, we are concern because he is 10 years old.

I think it Will take some time for Joe-Joe, kinda like us (humans), We have a 13 year old lab/greyhound mix named Moondance, the most loyal and loving dog, right down the street from us , is a rescue house for Greyhounds, they always race us as we drive by, awesome doggys!!!
