Good morning! Day 3 of my 3 days off work.
I slept in until 7:30...which is late for me. I usually get up just before 6am each day.
It's a balmy 28 degrees F, there's frost on the pumpkin, and the sun is shining. Going to be a great day!

Texas is absolutely marvelous!! Mid 50's up to mid 70's today and sunny.
Tonight I go to a class on how to use my new telescope. I already know how to use it but I think there’s an issue with one of the pointing sensors and it’s a good opportunity to prove it to the folks I bought it from. Hopefully they can fix it there.
Oughta be a fun albeit late night.

It's cool and rainy in Georgia. I like both!
Seems it hasn't rained in so long that too many people have forgotten what it's like to drive in the rain, so the commutes this week have been reallly rough.
But other than that, yeah it's a pretty good morning.

Good morn... ah, good afternoon Greg, Kim, Jolly, Phil, Radio and gofast.
Greg, Have a good time at class tonight. Is there a way to take photos of what you see through the lens? That would be neat.
Hi 61 and Low 45 for today down in South Louisiana.

Not through my scope. I've got a Dobsonian mount that does alt and az pointing by hand. To do astro photography you need an equtorial mount (fancy and more expensive). Maybe one of these days but not now. I bought my scope because it was big and would gather more light for DSOs (deep space objects). Photography is not a priority at the moment but there is always another year.

Well it is finally pouring down some much needed rain here in Virginia. I guess since I'm going to Blacksburg tomorrow night to a football game that the drought we have been experiencing is about to end.

Mornin' Greg. Still raining here and we need it. High 56 today after yesterday's 75. Have a great one. I'm off to Va Tech tonight for the BC game. Watch for me on ESPN. I'll be wearing maroon.

Morning all.
A cool 47° here this morning, with a Hi of 61° expected. Should be a pleasant day.
The weather guessers are saying we're going to have a wonderful weekend, but no camping, as I have committed myself to doing repairs at mom's house. Oh well, we've got plenty more camping days left.
Kim, have a good time at the game. I'll be on the lookout for you.

Good Thursday morning to everyone!
Hope y'all are having a great day. My partner is taking the Surveyor to the lake as we speak, gonna pick me up after work and we are going back up, I'll be back at work in the morning, but still gonna make a weekend out of it.
When it was built, Lake Martin was the first Man-made lake you could see from space, now the water level is so low I was told you can actually walk all the way around it. It'll take a couple of years to bring it back.

Good morning all. It is still raining, still chilly, high today 55, flood watches up for the next 24 hours, and I'm still soaked from sitting through a football game last night like an idiot.
