Good news about Forest River- specifically Coachmen

I knew that headline would grab your attention as it doesn't seem often that we hear good news about manufacturers. Mine involves some recent service experiences at the Coachmen factory in Middlebury, Indiana. I happen to be lucky that I live in the Chicago area which is only a little over 100 miles from Middlebury. I could have taken my unit to my local dealer, which I have done before, but I don't really like them for various reasons and would rather not give them any more of my money. The 2 occasions I used Coachmen's own service dept involved adding some things to my Class C Ford and also repairing some damage caused by road debris as well as a leaky window. On both occasions, service manager Nate Hedges did an outstanding job of communicating with me by email, as well as taking care of my service needs in a timely, professional manner. On my 2nd, recent visit he even helped arrange a tour of one of their assembly plants for a model I'm considering which was very cool and informative. It has cemented my commitment to continue to be a Coachmen customer.
