Is this normal?
Ironically, I just got my Good Sam annual renewal notice, but last week, they wouldn't help me with a flat tire on my trailer...
So, I have what I think is the highest tier of support with GS. Last Thursday around noon I had one of my tires blow out on my trailer (2019 Rockwood Mini Lite). I called GS and started with "I have a flat tire on my trailer, I have everything I need, but I can't get the lug nuts off because they're really tight." After a half-an-hour of totally ridiculous and irrelevant questions from the person ("what color is your vehicle?", "how many people with you?", "how much luggage is in the RV?", "What size is the wheel?", "What make-year is it?") -- she finally says, "it looks like you don't have coverage for lug-nut removal, I'm going to process this as a tire-change request, that'll be $245, we accept all major credit cards..." I said thank you, and hung up.
Were my expectations just too high? Any Good Sam replacement options out there you recommend? (BTW, I ended up calling Progressive and they had someone dispatched in 10 minutes.)
