Grand Canyon

DW and I will be in the Grand Canyon NP from next Tuesday (22nd May), staying at the Trailer Village. Recuperating after two surgeries in 6 months, so I'll be taking it easy, but if you see a Salem 21FBS and burgundy F150, both with AZ plates feel free to call in and say 'Hi'.

Have fun and keep us updated on this wonderful trip! It's not much fun recovering from surgery especially two in a short period of time. "Been there - done that" so relating is no problem.

Take care of yourself and enjoy being out in your camper. Love them Salem trailers!

We'll be staying for 10 days, so plenty of time to enjoy everything the Park has to offer. Only problem is that after a couple of days riding the bus - I'll be itching to drive it

Internet was useless at the lodges, so waited to get home to post pics. Superb time - temps did go below freezing one night, but otherwise very comfortable.

Visited Montezumas Castle on the way up.

It's a ***** big hole in the ground, but it has to be to hide the 5m visitors each year.

The colours change as the day moves on.

Plenty of wildlife to be seen morning and evening. Even saw 3 condors including an untagged juvenile.

The days ended perfectly!!!

Had more pics but can't seem to load them - time for some experimenting
