Hard wired CO2

We have a hard wired CO2 in our coach. It has been going off periodically, but safety checking found no issues. When the thing starts it's beeping, I started the engine, and in a few minutes, the beeping stops. Is this an indication of a low power? I'm having issues with the coach batteries, actually with Batteries Plus not honoring the warranty on two coach batteries, or is it something else?

We're guessing that it's a low battery alarm.
IF you've got doors and windows open and plenty of fresh air and
no engines running nearby it's most likely a low battery alarm.

Also if you plug into shore power does it stop??

You're right they are usually wired directly with no switch to shut off for
safety reasons. Your only recourse is probably to un-mount it and disconnect
the hot wire. I'm not recommending you go without a CO alarm but again-
if you have adequate ventilation and nothing near that could be emitting
CO- you should do what you gotta do to get some peace.

Good Luck!

It doesn't stop when we're hooked up to shore power.

You will have to pull it out and check the born on date. They are only good for about 5 years. If its almost 5 years old, you will have to replace. I have already done mine.
