Have you ever seen something like this

Have you ever seen a hitch like this, They say you don't need equalizer bars or torsion bars and sway bars, I am still trying to figure how it would attach to the truck. Its an air shock hitch.

Really? It just slides in where your ball mount normally goes into the hitch. However it will do nothing to stop sway. It is designed to swing in and out when you stop and go. It also minimizes the bounce. I use a shock absorbing shank. This one is called (and sorry for this ) "the shocker" Shocker Hitch - Air Suspension Trailer Hitches

Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank for 2" Hitches - 10,000 lbs Convert-A-Ball Accessories and Parts AMAC1

If you don't use a weight distributing system it looks ok. But I wonder if it takes the torque like a W/D shank is made to do. It of course can't distribute weight to the front axles without trunnion bars and a W/D platform. Tongue weight would just sit on the hitch.
