Haven't been on for awhile

Just stopped by to say hello. We were on this forum last year when we purchased our new Surveyor 243RBS. We used it for a few trips last summer and really enjoyed it. We decided to go to Florida for 6 months in Oct. We rented a site in an rv park and settled right in. Within 4 days the trailer got very small. My wife and I along with our 11 year old dog and did I mention our 2 cats. We came home for the holidays (left the trailer in Fla.) and traded our F-150 for a F-250 SD diesel and then went back to Fla. On the way back we made a deal with a dealer in Alabama for a Grand Design 337 RLS. By doing our research we saved quite a bit of money. We really enjoy the trailer and will probably be full timers next year. We were on a Grand Design forum but there were to many negative comments when questions were asked. I recall some good people on here with some good advice. I'm back, Boomer.

Welcome back. We too jumped ship in brands, we are SOB's (some other brand) with a Keystone Cougar. I prefer the knowledge and friendly folks here and I stay here and check in daily. And sometimes visit the Keystone forum.

Must be selling a lot of Grand Designs. In last two trips we have seen a dozen or more setting up, from 25 feet to 3-axle toy hauler. Have never seen so many.

Now that we own one, we see them all the time. I guess that is just like when you buy a certain kind of car or truck. We are very happy with the quality of the Grand Design. I also could not be happier with the dealer that we bought it from. When you are spending that kind of money on something that you have dreamed about for a long time it's all worth it. thanks for the replies, Boomer.

Very interesting. We just sold our Surveyors 233T and were searching for a new trailer. We looked at several FR trailers and then saw the Grand Design Imagine. Gotta say, we like what we see. Put a deposit on one due in in August. Hate to jump ship but it's all in what you like.
