HD tv`s

Hello All!
Ok...I have the Flagstaff 831krss, The tv that is in the back bedroom says its a HD tv. However it will not pull in any digital signals like the main tv does. I have not had it plugged into any landlines or satelite yet. Its my understanding that both televisions are tied into the same antennea sooo they should all be able to pull the digital signals...right?? If not..what do i need to buy!?! I am going to be adding another tv in bedroom soon so it would be nice to get this figured out first!

It depends, if there are connected at two seprate points at the antennea you should not have a problem, but if they are connected with a standard spliter then the spliter causes the signal to take the least path of resistance. There is a special spliter called a pass-through, I think that is what it is called anyway, this type of spliter is used for cable TV and internet service that comes off the same line. You might need to investigate as to how it is really hooked up. Good luck!

I just bought a 831KRSS three weeks ago (manufactured 11/07) and the Magnavox TV in the back had a large factory removable label stuck on the front saying it was not digital compatable (does not have a digital tuner). It does, however, say it is "HD TV" on the upper left corner of the front. I believe that only the large TV in the front has a digital tuner. I guess you have to hook a DVD, cable or satellite tuner to the rear one to have HD.

I know it`s a magnavox..and it does say HD TV on it..but it didnt have that sticker on it. well, at least it didnt when I picked it up.

If you want to go cheaper, you could get a digital set that picks up all digital channels with a built in tuner, with a smaller televisin it is the way to go because the lines of resolution are not really noticed, Opt 2 is go to Wally world and buy a digital tuner converter for 50 bucks hook the ant to the converter and hook it to your exsisting television, what it sound like you have is an hd ready tv, made for the converters

I saw a link that is now gone, Walmart is selling the magnavox series for 49.95. I will look and keep you posted, maybe only in stores right now?
