Our new Flagstaff V lite comes standard with a heated mattress. We tried to take it off but it was standard. We really do not need one in Texas even in the winter. I just want an idea how it works and etc.

We have one that came standard with our Rockwood, We have never used it. Who knows it may work like the Concertone! We do flip the matress two times in the camping season. I am not sure but if you put the head of the matress ( Where the heat connections are ) at the bottom of the bed, the control wire may not be long enough to plug in.
The connection plug to the controller cord goes toward the top, at the head of the mattress. I can't tell you how it works as we have a 4" Memory Foam mattress topper over it.
I've heard from others that it works well. Similar to an electric blanket.
We have it and use it all the time in cold months. Actually used it last weekend.
Ours works much like an electric blanket and makes the bed very comfortable on cold nights. We turn it on hig about 2 hours before bed and when we crawl in we turn it to low and that has suited our needs nicely.
Mike and when I upgrade I will have the heated mattress again.
We have a Heated king in our cherrokee and is it GREAT plug it in turn the dial and snuggle up We have used it many times including this last weekend Low temps last nite of 34 degrees Heated mat works great
