My 340RK is 13ft 2inches to the Top of the Front Air Conditioner.. My Dealer told me to never go under Bridges that are less that 13 ft 6 inches.. No Problems in the last 4 years.

My Arctic Wolf 315TBH8 is the same... My dealer assured me "your under 13' you'll be fine" there is a 13'3" bridge a mile down the road on my way home. 😱

yes! ours is 13'6" to 13'7". you have to measure when hooked up. we have not yet encountered a road obstacle that prevented us from going under it, though there was one that was close and we took it slow and right down the middle of the road (it was an arched tunnel). however, we are more concerned about tree branches once you get off the road and into a campsite or park. also trees in places like Walmart parking lots. you just have to look for them and avoid them. there is danger in those trees.

Broke my ladder off last year on a low tree limb backing into a tight camp spot. luckily it didn't damage roof or wall just snapped to tubing on the ladder.

One of our main East-West roads over the river has a low bridge.

Safe and happy travels.

If that sign says 13' 11" then most of the ones I see on 35 north/south are 14'. Haven't really thought about height between here and KCI but may start looking up again just to make sure.

What does that bridge look like to be a full 1' 4" shorter when going straight? That's gotta be a heck of an obstruction.

This is something that I'm going to have to start keeping an eye out when we pick up the new fiver. With the Flagstaff, as long as the first number wasn't an 11' or less, we never paid much attention.

Oh sorry, I was looking at the height stamped on the bridge not the sign. Yep that sign would indeed be a problem for me.

You need to know EXACTLY what the hight of your trailer (top of the AC) is when hooked up to your truck. DO NOT rely on what the dealer says. LIKE doesn't work too well either.

simple tools to figure this out is. 10' 2 by 4, level, tape measure step ladder, and a helper.

Check out some youtube videos of low RXR bridges.

We are 13' 7". Only issues have been from PA up into New England. Many low bridges but only on secondary roads. Keep on the Interstate or toll roads and you should be okay. No issues west of PA, anywhere.

Also, the PA Turnpike is signed no vehicles over 13' 6". We have towed most of it no problem.

AllStays has an app showing heights. We try to map out our trip in advance to avoid issues.

A fun website to look at is 11foot8 Bridge, the overpass is in Durham NC. It’s a railroad overpass that’s well marked and people still hit it, over a hundred times.
