It a 2017 so if there was some issues I am hoping they were addressed

Looks like a 12 Volt possibly, they don’t have a ton of power so they’re good for interior stuff. We keep one onboard our trailer and it comes in very handy.
No.. it's an impact driver.. meant for bolts/nuts.. not screws.. You'd want to use a drill for driving in screws, probably with a clutch set up so that you stop at a certain depth.
I have the impact that Lexa has shown.. I use it daily (auto tech) for skid plates mostly, but have used it on other stuff.. it's got a lot of torque.. those brushless 20 volters are pretty strong..
I break the adapter shaft (hex to 1/4" drive) monthly, to the point that I bought an extra one from the Snap On dealer so that when it breaks, I can just swap it out.

I was actually expecting OP to say he found a bottle of booze, or worse yet, a drunk with a empty bottle sleeping it off.

An old bottle of scotch would be nice

Wish I could have found one of those to add to my Dewalt collection. Yes you can drive screws with it. Works quite well.
