Holding tanks ???

I just bought a 1997 sierra 24fb travel trailer. I cannot figure out how many gallons my black and gray tanks are. Any help would be great. Especially on the black tank.

Fill an empty tank until full. drain 5 gallons at a time until empty. that will be your answer. they can be anywhere from 20 to 50 gallons. but im betting on the smaller side.

Call the Sierra service department, Jessica Hazleton, 575-535-1520, with the VIN # and she should be able to give you the correct answer.

Manufacture web page have specs back that far?

any time i have looked up a blue book value of a camper on NADA or Kelly it usually gives all the weights and specs for the specific model and year.

I have read here that tanks sometimes have their capacity molded into the plastic on the bottom. You might lower the bottom covering and look at the bottoms of tanks.
