"and a short wheelbase TV to be towing with NO sway control and NO Weight distributing hitch"
Short wheel base? It is hard to tell if it is a long box, but I don't know what could be much longer than a crew cab truck? They may have had use for sway control, as it was moving around. But it did appear that it was just far too windy to be out on the road, a lesson for all of us.
(serves me right for not watching till the very end and having the audio off).
That truck is a one ton duallie. Nothing could have prevented that flip in those winds. My old Reese WD hitch has some rotation protection due to the T-shaped thrust arms but that was a very long camper.
