X2 and it looks to be a generator which will be a square wave and not too friendly for electronics. But would get you out of a bind in prolonged power outages. Not for me though.

X3. I had one like that and it drove us nuts having to listen to it when we should be relaxing in quiet outdoors. Not to mention the stares from the other campers at the campground. Also the A/C didn't care for it. I just sold it yesterday and today I purchased the 3500 watt, pure sine, Harbor Freight version of the Honda ($698 this weekend); rated at 57 dB @ 1/2 load. I have had great experiences with their stuff as long as you maintain them precisely as prescribed in the manual and since I only take the generator maybe once a year and maybe use it for a planned outage here and there, it will suit our needs perfectly.

Yes, home generators are one of those items you cannot buy at any price when you need one. They are handy for that occasional Apocalypse, Rapture or Armageddon.

Over memorial day, costo had the firman 3200 watt rv generator on sale for $499 with free shipping. I picked one of those up and it is great.

I was almost going to pull the trigger on a predator 3500 for $699 but got basically the same size for $200 less.
