Honda 7000 inverter

Can the Honda 7000 inverter generator power everything in travel trailer at same time? Trailer is 50 amp and has a 13.5 and a 15k ac units.

Your trailer has two legs, each leg is capable of providing 50 amps for a total of 100 amps between the two legs which equals 12,000 watts

Most likely, each air conditioner will be run on one of those legs and should not use more than 15 amps continuous.

In theory, this generator should work but I think only one of its plugs is a 30 amp RV plug and I think the other plug is not a 30 amp RV plug on that generator.

You will most likely need adapters and a converter plug (may have to fabricate it yourself) so you can run the split power lines and combine them to your 50 amp cord.

That generator is very $$$$ ($4000 from what I found) and is only rated for 5500 watts continuous which is about 45.8 amps at 120 volts AC.

This generator https://www.scooterwholesales.com/pr...ter-generator/ is $1500 and is ratedf or 5800 watts continuous and 6500 watts surge and may be a more affordable option. It does not have an RV 30 amp outlet and will need adapters too.

I can't find a 2 30 amp male to 50 amp female "Y" adapters out there but making one yourself isn't difficult.

65db is NOT quiet, especially for an inverter generator.
Heck, the Champion 3500/4000w open-frame contractor-style generator, that costs $300, is 68db.

Assuming this trailer is a 5th wheel, is generator prep an option for it?
I'd be looking at an Onan 6kw or similar built-in type generator.

Just saw your other thread where you said you're using it on private property.
Knowing that up front, would've gotten you better answers.
Since that is the case, something like Trance's suggestion would be fine.
Course the Honda 7000 would easily run everything and be quieter. Just more expensive.

My MH has a 8kw gen built in. runs everything fine. 2 ac- coffee pot micro.

I know there are a lot of generators out there- but I have a 2000 watt Honda from 1999 ( used in construction ) and a 3000 watt Honda inverter (2011) for home (ran for 2 week straight when sandy hit) and my 5th wheel (sold 5th wheel last year) both have been great- very serviceable, and quite. Both are also very good on gas. You will spend more on a Honda- to buy but in the long run I think you will be very happy with it.
