Hosting: How is it, how/where to apply

I am really considering the Hosting thing for any of the Southwest/Northwest National Parks. My wife and I are in our 50s, in fairly good health and self reliant. I was a Paramedic, cop, and we are both retired. We both can communicate with others as well. We are used to remote locations
