I hunt.
I fish....liquid water year round.
I still camp when weather allows, which is every other week till end of February, then all the time.
I spend way too much time on the internet.
I chase Mama around the house.
I come to the 'farm' and work on that house too.
I go visit kids (800 miles apart in 3 directions) or vice versa.
I work on projects.
I read.

Well I just put ours up for the short winter as we will be going out in Feb. So during the off time I spend working on my RR and other projects at home and working on the Frog rally. Also do bookings for next years camping trips. As one said being retired seems like I got more to do now than before and the days go by fast Later RJD

Doing a bath remodel right now, well I was, waiting on grout to dry. Shovel snow, and wait about 8 weeks till DW gets back-- so I suppose I need to clean house in a month or so...
Also still work some and volunteer.

I go to Arizona for the winter.....gives wife more time to make 'honey do' list......think of mods to do, gather up tools and materials, and if there's something I need, Amazon is my friend.....then do what I wanted to do here......this year at campground the maintenance guy is lacking tools, so I've become a Tool Room....Pink stuff not spoken here! lol

I fire up the pellet stove in the shed and freshen the varnish on our two classic wood boats. Time flies when you're retired and having fun!

Since retirement our home base is a condo slope side at a ski resort in Colorado so I go skiing of course and enjoy the winter. In my spare time I volunteer at our church and help with our grand children. Like most of you i spend to much time on the internet (according to my DW) planning for our next adventure after the ski resort closes and perusing Amazon for improvements to our little other condo on wheels. I'm planning to explore the Pacific coast next trip beginning in San Diego and ending in Seattle with detours to old friends and National parks along the way. Life is an adventure!

We go somewhere every month. I have been retired a few years now and I'm proud to say I'm just plain lazy. I get up in the morning with nothing to do and at the end of the day if I still have some nothing to do left then I'm happy. Work is a dirty word to me. I'm so lazy I wouldn't work in a pie factory tasting every tenth pie. I have worked a long time and hard work and now it's time to do nothing

My job boss likes to see my smiling face 5 days a week, camping is not my only expensive hobby then there are all the things grandpa needs to attend to, graduations, weddings and chili/spaghetti feeds............

When retirement time comes I'm not so sure I will have the time......

We do what we always do. Feed and ride the horses. Camp in the desert and continue to have fun in our RV. We are fortunate, and really feel for those in those colder/snowier climate areas.

Winter months

Babysitting the grandkids while the motorhome sits in the driveway so the kids can both work full time so they can someday buy a new motorhome so it can sit in their driveway while they babysit their grandkids.

How do I keep busy in winter months?

Until we can get out of the cold here in Colorado I keep busy in shop doing woodworking, repairing, and any thing to eat up time. This year we will be leaving right after Christmas for AZ and RV park's wood shop. Hoping I will have enough projects to last the 3/4 months there.
Wife will be doing Genology (sp) research. That keeps her busy the entire time unless she takes time off to do some day trips. This year the kids and grand-kids will be coming down at their spring break.

My daughter is a professional genealogist, and what campground has a wood shop area?

We will be in Tucson and this year our stay will be at Rincon East. Last year we were at Voyager RV Resort and their wood shop is great but it does get a bit crowded. It is a very nice resort.
At Rincon East RV resort it is about a third the size of Voyager and their wood-shop is very nice and, of course, not near as crowded.
