How do you wash your camper?

Blue Beacon when I am close to one. Try to wash it at least once a year with wash/wax all but this thing is 40 feet long and really tall so it's an all day job when we do it. I can't bring the camper home due to size of it and streets in the city. I washed it once at the storage lot but the only water is at the dump station and really don't want to use that even though I brought my own hoses.
The wash/wax all is nice because I can do it when I'm camping and the campground can't complain about water usage. Only downside is then I am washing instead of relaxing on a camping trip. I envy those that can bring theirs home to wash it.

I use a foam gun and the 2 bucket system w/ long handle soft brush. The foam guns are a big time saver. If you have a power washer you can get a foam cannon. I use a spray nozzle to get most of the loose dirt off. Then spray a section at a time w/ foam gun w/ Honeydew soap from CarGuys. I like this stuff because it leaves a heavy foam and takes dirt off w/o totally stripping wax.Then use a long handle soft brush and then rinse that section. I have a 5 gallon bucket of soap mix and 1 on clean water. I rinse my brush inbeteeen sections- soap and then clean water. I also use the soap bucket w/ a washing mitt to scrub stubborn dirt. I can do my 38’ 5 th wheel in 3 hours.
Once a year I wax trailer w/ a good synthetic wax- Rejetz is the best I have found for long term use and easy to get on and off.

I have an RV wash, dump station, vacuum and air at my storage facility. Very convenient.

I'm fortunate to have my 36' DP in my driveway all season. I wash it before every outing, or as I like to say it never leaves the driveway dirty, even if its raining out.

I usually use Blue Coral Wash and Wax from Walmart with an extension pole and wash brush I bought on Amazon and a wheeled 5-gallon mop bucket. After I wash the whole rig I will squeegee off the water using a Dollar Store 9-10 inch squeegee on a broon stick.

At times then I'll drape a large towel over the squeegee to further dry the higher up sections, then using the same towel to dry all the lower sections. The whole process will take me about one hour. If I'm lucky and my DW isn't busy, she'll do the drying part behind me as I move around the rig, cutting down the total time to 40-45 minutes.

My rig gets waxed (polish, sealant, ceramic, etc. interchangeable like Jello and gelatin
) once a season, just finished last weekend, using Meguiar's Glaze Sealent 21. I will break up the job one section at a time using an electric buffer to apply the Meguiar's and remove it by hand. Throughout the camping season then I'll use Wash n Wax for fast touch-ups.

I use a product that is called "Wash WAX All" this is a simply spray on the mop head and apply to your trailer. You than flip over and wipe off with the dry mop head. No water is involved and I have used this in campgrounds with no complaints.

I can usually clean the entire trailer in one day with no ladders being used.

When I have the pressure washer set up, I give the TT a once over. Sometimes soap, sometimes just water. Did it yesterday, yellow tinge to the runoff.

I'm another HOA sufferer.. but, I still wash mine in front of the house
I've become a big fan of (properly) using a ladder +pressure washer + foam cannon + long handle brush to wash our Vengeance Rogue 25v toy hauler (which is pretty tall)
1) Starting with the roof, rinse lightly with green nozzle of pressure washer, liberally apply foam cannon, wait a few, and brush (the roof is definitely my least favorite part) . Follow up with a good rinse and let the dirt run off
2). Take the sides one at a time, same as the roof

I prefer the pressure because it allows me to reach stuff, and is actually water efficient relative to a regular hose. Pressure washers are great for this IMHO if used properly (only use green , 40' tip, and don't go directly at seals).

The whole thing is usually under an hour

Hose it off. Use soft brush & Simple Green. Wax the decals.

My manual says to not use a powerwasher on my fiberglass; baby shampoo is used on metal so it doesn't leave a film. (Who would have thought? Baby shampoo is NOT cheap!).

The care of all fiberglass is basically the same as any
automotive finish. Any finish will deteriorate with time.
Dulling and fading can be increased by exposure to
extreme sunlight, air pollutants and excessive moisture.
Regular washing will help prevent this from occurring. If
surface deterioration, such as yellowing or chalking,
occurs, consult with your dealer for proper procedures.
• Wash the exterior monthly with warm water and a
mild detergent.
• Do not use a pressure washer to wash the exterior
of your RV. This may cause damage to your RV.
• Avoid spraying water directly into refrigerator and
furnace vents.
• Immediately remove bird droppings, tree sap,
insects and tar to avoid staining.
• Wax a least once a year with a standard liquid or
paste wax.
• Prolonged storage of the RV should be in a sheltered
environment when possible.
NOTE:
Physical damage to fiberglass should be addressed
immediately to avoid moisture entering through breaks
and causing problems with interior walls and components.
Cover breaks in the fiberglass with plastic, sealing
the edges with tape until proper repairs can be made."

I agree to a point but in the city I live in I'm willing to put up with it. If we didn't have a HOA I'd have neighbors parking 6 or more cars on the lawn, half covered with tarps, just like the 2 miles of street I drive down on my way to the freeway.

Houses in my HOA have appreciated almost 28% in the last year while rest of city only 8%.

I'll probably sell in a year or so and find a place to park my TT when home visiting my kids. Daughter has 3 acres not far away si thats a possibility. She'll probably let me wash it in her driveway[emoji16]

I wash mine at home in the driveway with a hose, bucket and soft, long handled brush.

For a 'soap' product, I've tried many of the wash & wax products but found this one by Chemical Guys the very best for removing bugs, road grime, dirt and mud to get a clean unit .... and it leaves a super just waxed look deep shine.

I can see the concern of using a power washer if one was using extreme pressure. The soap nozzle puts out less pressure than the water coming out of the house. My 40 degree nozzle at more than 18” away from the surface it’s not much higher than my hose thru a fire nozzle. If I put it 1” from my hand it will hit hard enough to turn my hand red. Pressure washers don’t hurt rvs people hurt rvs

I had a polymer coating applied to mine when it was new. Now I just use a soft bristle long handled brush and Meguires wash and wax with carnuba and it comes out great. Front cap needs a little elbow grease when there are bugs but it isn't terrible to clean.

You might try and use your RV in line water filter to wash the camper with that you use while camping. I started using mine and it helps.
