To tell the truth me and DW has never had a problem with stuff sliding around in the refrigerator. Anything that can slide is put in the door. We have two drawers in the bottom that handles water and drink bottles.

Best idea so far.

The way I control the shifting problems the fridge, and cabinets, is simply SLOW DOWN. What's the hurry? When you drive, pretend you have a raw egg sitting on your seat, you will quickly determine few things "shift".

We use the spring arms and then we have two thin wood cutting boards we put inside the spring arm and in front of the food. This way we can stack the food high and it doesn’t fall out when we open the door.

Binder Clips

Binder clips (like you buy at the office supply store) work great to stop things from rolling around on shelves.

We just keep our fridge full. No room for stuff to slide. If we do need some filler, I always have extra beer........

We move everything forward so if we brake everything is already forward. Then the bath towels we normally use. It's just a simple answer to a problem.

We went to the "Everything's $1" store and bought a stack of small, white plastic baskets, about 5" X 8". Two on each shelf that hold everything from cans of soda to condiments to..... Bigger items that won't fit into the baskets - milk, etc. either go into the door or are held in place by putting them on the shelves with the white baskets.

That's a really good idea.

Oh dang. Now I'm gonna have to steal that saying from you when I'm moving beer to the fridge! I fully expect a dramatic eye roll and groan from Liz.

X2 on dollar store bins. We bought 4 small , white dish washing bins from the dollar store for a buck apiece. They work great! We have even used one for defrosting frozen items in the fridge. When not needed they ”nest” inside of each other.

spring bars in the frig, pillows, blankets ad towels in the cabinets, I don't want to take other stuff because it's more clutter

X3 on $$ store bins. I drilled several 1 inch holes in the bottom of them to allow for better air circulation.
