I 95 restrictions?

Does anyone know if Florida is still restricting or quarantining people traveling from NY and NJ? We are traveling to Florida next week and are curious as to what to expect.

Last I heard, and I just left ALABAMA sunday near the border, they are stopping vehicles with NY,NJ, and Conn, tags and instructing to quarantine for 14 days. After today it could change. You could go in on A1A. Just stopping on the interstates.

I just looked on google maps and do not see a traffic backup at the border. All green. I heard last week or so that the back up was for miles...

I came through that south bound on 95 monday afternoon.

first you cross the ST Marys river, than you pass the AG inspection site.
after that they have all simi's move to the left lane and everybody else in Right lane. traffic comes to a stop. the wait was not more than 10 minutes.

all non semi's will get pushed into the scales entrance, all Semi's bypass. because the Semi line moves a little faster, of course the Left Lane was also full of cars thinking the will act dumb and move further down before being forced into right lane.

Once your into weigh station I think you were split into 2 lanes at a Y, than each of those split into 2 more lines so there was 4 lines total.

You pull up to the scales and a person stops you and asks "where are you coming from". We told them we came from PA and they said "thanks, have a good day" and directed us back to 95 (we actual are from Florida and were in PA for a long week)

I did see a separate set of lines over on my Right that appeared cars might have been sent over to this other line from if they needed to "inspect further".

there was a lot of NJ/NY cars on 95 on Monday, mostly looked like they were young family's (or groups of collage age kids) coming to FL for vacation.

I stand corrected. I checked I-75 not I-95. There is a backup around the welcome station...

Also, you can go to My Florida GOV and PAN DOWN to view current information or PAN to the right and type TRAVEL as I did for the above link.
