I.D. this car ??

Can anyone ID the car in this photo? I know there are a lot car guys here.
I have a small wager going with a friend. That logo on the hood is picking at my memory but I can't get a handle on it. I am claiming that it is either Buick, Oldsmobile, or Cadillac. He thinks it's a Kaiser.

1953 Kaiser--

1947 Studebaker Champion---

Helps to compare.

The hood "badge" certainly looks more like a "Studie" than a "Henry J."

Most likely a Champion Deluxe Commander.

Thanks, all. I think the 1947 Studebaker is correct.
Looks like we both were wrong.

Let's just say that when I started driving this was still a relatively new car with lots of them around.
