Wow What a mess, It looks like your antenna just missed your camper. 21 days and no electricity that had to suck. Was you able to get a generator and live in your camper?

I thought about it but it is winterized and it got down to 12 and 15 degrees during that. I got a generator four days before the power came back on. It was kinda like camping in the house though lol. yea the antenna got close.

My son works w/elect. co. here in NC. He just got home Wed. from Ark. He was there 3 weeks. Sure did like the people. Said one morning, a nearby house where they were working brought his crew hot deer biscuits, cin. buns.

Been there, done that last February 2008 here in Springfield, Missouri. About 75% of Springfield was out of power, and my brother & his family came to my house just outside of Springfield in Battlefield because my power was only out 2 days. His power was out over 2 weeks and he lives in town! My gas fireplace and gas grill came in handy! We will never forget hearing the trees breaking, with real loud cracking, popping sounds. You never knew when a limb was going to drop, hopefully not on anyone or anything. But in the sunlight, the trees looked so beautiful because they looked like glass. And after all the damage and spring finally came, the leaves covered all the broken tree tops like nothing happened. And yes, I bought a generator from Home Depot for the next big ice storm!
