Identifying my pop up

I just bought a 04 Rockwood pop up camper. The only identifying decals on it are a large decal saying Rockwood, and a smaller one under it saying Freedom, but no model number. The box is a tad over 8', and opened up it's about 17'. What I find on the sticker is 1-FMT170LTD, which I thought was the model, but if it is I find NO info on it on the net. Right now i'm tryinhg to find out what axle it has so I can get new bearing and seals to replace the old ones with. I must say, getting parts for my old 93 Coleman Destiny Royale was MUCH easier. Thanks fo any help.

I bought a 2006 Rockwood Freedom 1610 brand new from the dealer; it had the 8' box and included a 2' storage box in front. When I bought it from the dealership it didn't have brakes, but electric brakes were required to be able to pull behind the Hyundai Santa Fe I had at the time. The dealership just removed the entire axle and replaced it with an electric-brake axle. I believe it was a Dexter. Yours is probably a 1640 LTD which was the same model as mine without the storage box. The model sticker was just a small rectangle square, near the door if I recall correctly. This should be an easy fix to jack up, pull one hub and take to your local RV parts dealer for standard stock parts to be matched and purchased.

I hope you enjoy your popup as much as I did mine!

That sounds about right, mine doesn't have the front storage, it does however have electric brakes which really surprised me on a camper this small. I know I can pull the bearings out and match them up, or perhaps read the number on them, I was hoping to have the parts before I take it apart, like I did with my old 93 Coleman. I just got a set of new E rated Carlisle tires for it, including the spare, I just have to mount and balance them, so I want to replace the bearings and seals while i'm in there and check the brakes too.
