car dealers are not owned by the companies...they're all independent and many are huge 'dealer groups' that own dozens of dealerships across multiple states

Locks on the storage compartment doors that work "more" better. Most of the time mine are hard to lock without having to worry about bending those little lightweight keys...

1) Battery Disconnect Switch
2) Better unique locks - Remote control locks like on a car
3) Clear, durable material (ie, lexan or ??) over a portion of roof to let in light / heat, add- an electric retractable shade cover when not needed
4) Solar power system, charge batts, water heater, etc.
5) Vertical slide to create loft / bunk areas
6) Better tires
7) Electronic privacy glass on all windows
8) Built in electronics caddy (place to charge all your devices)
9) Personal mini safe (like they have in some hotels)
10) Built in triangular stablization arms to reduce movement.

So when can you start building my next trailer???

Maybe a vent system in the floor to pull cool air from under the trailer and let it out at the roof to keep things cooler, reduce condensation.

The FIRST thing I would do is make it aerodynamic enough to pull more easily, and get better fuel economy. Even with the curved, sloping frontal areas, the hard corners create a lot of air drag. The makers of the Casitas and the like have a good start, but so much more could be done. I'd also make it out of a fibergalss/foam/fibergalss sandwich that would be much stronger than what they are using these days. It would be molded in 2 halves like a Casita. Most of the options would be hidden and out of the airstream... like that honkin' air-conditioner stickin' up there. That could be built into the structure of the roof, floor, or into the frontal area that would be hard to use for other things, along with all the refer stuff, etc. The suspension areas could be beefed up to take the suspension and tounge loads. With proper engineering, the TTs could also be made lighter than todays so-called ultra-lites... The only tank I'd worry about making bigger is the grey-water tank. It's the only one I've ever had a problem with over use... but I don't boondock, so I've never used my fresh-water system at all.

I wonder why no one is building them like this.

Hhhmmmmmm? We have a 2010 Graywolf 19RR...and for the most part, we really really like it... but could have some tweaks done to it.

Well.. toy hauler first off...26'-27' tow behind...maybe a fifth-wheel...full separate bath... no shower or bathroom sink in the bedroom. More kitchen counter space, diffidently an oven! More cabinet space. My hubby would say a walk around bed. Screen door for the cargo ramp door. Better place to store a spare tire.(not under the bed!) Bigger windows that open. Tankless, propane water heater. Vortex ceiling vent fans! Battery Disconnect Switch, Combi locks of storage doors, a whole TT vacuum, All the screws used outside should be stainless steel. Bigger holding tanks...oh yeah...a kegorator and a hot tub!!
