Interesting ride home

We went camping at Hickory Hill in Bath NY this weekend. It was wet and wild weekend there. We had a great weekend. On the way home saw a bus on it's side in the woods. One guy was top and another was in front. I stopped and we started helping people out before the troopers and EMTs showed up. After 4 Mercy flight choppers and I don't know how many ambulances I left. Say prayers for the 37 on the bus. There were 35 survivors. I have never seen anything like that in my life

At least 19 injured in tour bus crash on I-390 - Corning, NY - The Corning Leader

One prelim report is that the driver fell asleep at the wheel. (Quickly denied by tour bus company!) Road (I-390 NB) still partially closed between Exits 1 & 2 for accident reconstruction. Local detour in place.

scary thing to come across!

and they will do anything to stick the driver with 'falling asleep'. even if you swerve to avoid a deer and end in the ditch they will blame the driver. that is why there is so many animals dead on the roads.

The first thing that caught my eye when I came up on it was the chunks of tires on the side of the road and the marks in the pavement and down off the road. Front right tire blew out.

Yes -(DF5.4), Driver did NOT fall asleep. The right front tire blew out and he lost control of the bus. Sad....just another accident.
