Talking Is it Spring yet?

Walmart has put out all the garden tools, seeds, potting materials, etc. Surely spring can't be too far away! We are so ready to hit the campgrounds!

Spring isn't too far away to plan.

Because of the economy we have to take furlough days starting in March (no complaints, thankful I still have a job). So I have started planning a trip about the third week of March. I'll have to take two days that month and that's about the time the crappie start spawning, so it works for me.

The tt is in the shop now getting some minor work done before my warranty runs out next month. I'll probably have to take it out for a "shakedown" camping trip a couple of weeks before that.

Anyone else have their first trips planned out yet?

Well sadly enough we have to cancel our trip to Florida for spring break as work has been slow and we cant really see taking a big trip like that now, but we are looking forward to spring and summer as we love to camp with friends close to home also

After all the cold weather here in Atlanta, I am ready for Spring! We usually camp several times during the Winter months, but I am looking forward to some milder evenings by the campfire.

Camp-on!

Wet here but warmer than usual as all the weather that usually hits us has gone to California, ha ha. Itching to get out and actually managed to drive the rig into town last week to fill the gas and propane. Just need a front end alignment and then we can head for the hills. Looks like spring is a bit early in the Northwest this year. Really antsy to get the boat out of storage and hit the bass lakes.

Why wait for spring? Do it now!!! We have our first trip in he new trailer planned for mid February. Winter here in southwest Ontario hasn't been that bad so far (touch wood) but Florida has to be so much better (we hope). Old guys

81 days... ouch! Weather here in Idaho mild in the valleys, good snow in the mountains, looking to trade my pop-up in the next couple of weeks for a Wildwood 23 BHLE, no immediate plans until this happens (too cold for the pop-up) sure to find a weekend get-away regardless of the weather once the new trailer is in the driveway... otherwise, big trip to Disneyland/Seaworld planned for the summer... for those looking, my pop-up is on ebay with a good, affordable reserve, area code 83301

I hear you! The tease of 60 degrees this past Monday makes it feel that much colder when it's 30. I see the lows will be in the teens again. We still have February & March to deal with!!!!

Come on Springtime!!!!!

Well, here in south central Va we are supposed to get another foot of snow overnight. North of us is supposed to get much less. So much for global warming.

Kim, looks like you are supposed to get a lot more than us this time. Forecast of of 4-7" here. Looks like the further south you go in VA., the more snow is forecast. We just got rid of the snow on the ground from the Dec. 19th storm within the last 2 weeks.....geez......I am definitely ready for spring.

Yep. This time the heaviest is expected along the VA/NC border area. My dad lives down that way. Looks like I dig out me and then head down there to dig him out. What fun.
