Glad to hear it’s that big of a change! I know I feel way different.

When you come to Florida, give me a hollar. We should be back by November or December or so.

And most certainly, I implore you to stick around with us and share your wit and wisdom.

Congrats on the new rig, the DW and I went to look at the same one this last weekend and we have decided to buy one just hoping that with our trade in that we can make it happen.

Let us know how you like it so far, do you know about what kind of mileage that you might be getting, which is not a problem I just would like to know going into it.

I have only put fuel into it once, but running the generator while underway (2 kids in the back), the computer was saying 7.3 or so. I'll fill up next weekend and will have my first MPG numbers.

Overall, we've been happy with it. Like any other new rig, there's crap that has been happening - it arrived at the dealer with a blind that had fallen off of the wall (6-8 weeks to order a new one), the bathroom sliding door was broken but usable (6-8 weeks to order a new one), towel hanger in the bathroom fell off of the wall, Wineguard was wired backwards and didn't work, sliding door to the bedroom is missing a screw, and the solar stuff in the app is a little wonky. And, of course, the things we found when we did our PDI walk-thru- some dealt with, some not.

But, it's a new rig and we expected these things.

It's official, I'm a SOB - Jayco Precept 36C

I also have a Jayco and have found Jayco easy to work with. I have had two warranty claims that I sent to them and received reimbursements with no issues. And, I will have another claim later this week. Damn Schwintek slide!!!

Forget the dealer. Use mobile techs for repairs. They are faster and more competent.

Yeah, I called them to find out the mobile tech process and it seems decent. Now, I was disappointed that they wouldn't send me a taillight to replace on that's obviously failing (I provided pictures + a video). Fortunately the taillight manufacturer sent it straight away.
