Wow. Did you ever stop to smell the Roses? That is a average of 330 miles a day.
It was a great itinerary and I am sure you saw lots of fun stuff.

I stuck my head out the window and inhaled as I drove by.

You need to write your own lyrics to chronicle your trip!

Longest trip so far
Now that's a trip! Sometimes we don't have time to stay everywhere we would like for long periods of time. But we can go back to the ones we like when we do have more time. I did very similar trip from Cincinnati, Ohio last year in 30 days. 4,000 miles in RV and 1,000 in local trips in jeep. On The Road Again

That is a great trip and agree lots of miles in 3 plus weeks but if you and the family enjoyed themselves its all worth it to have lasting memories. We're originally from Mass. Ourselves but retired to Florida in the Winter of 2019. We took our first trip home this summer in our motorhome a week. Our route took us about 1650 miles in a week stopping at 3 different CGs along the way easy travel. Spent 2 months up there traveling around NE spending time with family and friends then back home basically the same way exploring at each CG stop. Great time. Thanks for sharing. Our plans next year is put to the midwest similar to your placds.

Almost same trip
Left NC, thru TN, up to Kentucky, across to NM, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, up to Wyoming, back to SD, across to NY and north to Bass Lake, over to Cooperstown, back down to PA, MD, Virginia, and back to NC. 100 days -- including a month holdover in Colorado waiting for a replacement AC. Great trip!

WOW
DW and I are covering almost as much ground, but in 60 days. We started in TX to Cave County Kentucky, Goshen Indiana-8 days for Forrest River Rally-a blast, Cubs game. Toured Green Bay Packers stadium. Now in Door County Wisconsin for a week. Then mooch docking w/ friends in Friendship Wisconsin for a week over Labour Day. After years of traveling, finally convinced DW no more than 300 miles a day, 2 days in a row and then stop for 3 days in 1 spot. But we are both retired. We will return home thru Idaho and Minnesota. This has been a different style trip for us, no reservations before we left, except the FR rally.
Sounds like you had a great trip, Safe Travels.
