Ketch all mouse traps

Anyone know how best these could be used/placed around a seasonal TT ??

Low to the ground and put opening closest to a wall or something solid! Mice and rats usually use a wall as a giude! They dont have good eyesight! Peanut butter just a dab inside the trap not at the door!

I wondered about this. Turn it sideways and place it outside not necessarily by a wall, but so that the "out" side was closed up against a flat surface (maybe a shed) and the slab of P.B. was smeared in there on the "closed side" ??

I Googled Ketch All Mouse Trap Instructions. This came up:

Trap is properly set. Place the KETCH-ALL 1 1/2" to 2" parallel to the wall or set perpendicular to a wall in a space where mice are known to travel. The KETCH-ALL needs no bait and catches multiple mice in one setting. Simply slide back the top lid, pull up the end plate and dispose of the mice.

I know how the traps are designed (to be used to W/O baits), just thought it cud be used with the P.B. enticement - placed in a different orientation (NOT as a "walk thru") and become a great trap ??

I agree, but then after getting few timely responses, I came up with the suggestion which I have shared - to use it more like a "repeated" BAITED trap. I know that at my home these devices were placed outside, and I guess I would not want them placed inside my camper during winter storage at the campground.

We have a similar trap set on the ground between the street-side wheels. Haven't caught any in our first season but the neighbour had a full trap of his own.
