King Flex (Tailgater) Satellite Dish

I recently purchased the King Flex (Tailgater) Satellite dish over the holidays and cant wait to take it out and replace my manual dish. I have seen this all the time when i go camping.
My question is on security of the dish. It looks very easy to pickup and walk off with. Do you leave it out after you retire for the night? Do you bring it in before you doze off? Is there a security/lock device for it so you can leave it out in the open?

thanks everyone!

We lock ours. The Doit brand (model named 1 1/2 steel that has 2 1/2 total length) is a lock skinny enough to fit the hole. The Master Lock we bought didn't fit even though the two locks look darn near identical. Got a braided steel cable with looped ends to attach (with another lock) to the Aframe or rear bumper depending on where the Dish needs to go.

Lock em, notice if it is hooked up and the coax cable is cut or just unscrewed, it will sound alarm in camper, I cable it to my hitch. Love it, works great. Am building a tri pod set up to keep it off the ground and off the car.

That's too high for an old man like ME to reach.

That's why I bring this.
I set it on my bumper rack then put one ratchet strap around it and the camper ladder.

Tailgater

Whenever I can I put it on the roof of my trailer. I have an expandable ladder which makes it easy to put it on the roof. I'm 70 so it has to be easy for me too. Most rv parks are save and you see satellite dishes all over the place.

I do a Turbs thing. The top of the slide keeps it away from passing objects. I also have a ladder to check the top of the slide before I close up and move. My Dish Tailgater has hole for a lock to fasten a chain. Love my Tailgater. I can watch my St. Louis Cardinals on Fox Midwest all season.
