Unhappy lacrosse 318bhs bed is short and toes touch the wall

Wondering how people sleep in a short queen bed when the foot of the bed is against a wall as in the lacrosse 318bhs. We just purchased ours a week ago and although we were told it is a queen (not a short queen) my husband is unable to sleep in it.

to the forum and congrats on your new tt.

As far as I know, all the LaCrosse tt's come with the RV version of a queen bed. The only models we saw that had room at the foot of the bed were the 301RLS, 303RKS and the 305RES. They are coming out with a 308RES and I believe it has room at the foot of the bed as well.
I know this doesn't help you with your problem, but since the bed is up against the wall I don't know of anything you can do.
Good luck.

Similar floor plan Tracer 3150BHD. The first mod I did was pulled out the short queen and put in full queen... fits great side to side, and fits from headboard to TV/mirror wall. Lost about 4 inches, but not that big of a deal since I couldn't walk through even with the shorty on.

A real queen mattress, like one for your house? Isn't that a pretty big weight difference? It is definitely something we have considered but aren't sure what that'll add to the overall weight going from foam to say a Serta.

Not sure of weight differences... honestly didn't think of it. Would sacrifice the weight for comfort. Also, the frame is capable of holding the extra weight.
