Lake Side Sites Near Branson Missouri

Just got back from Table Rock Lake as part of Mill Creek Campground(C.O.E.) opened today. Temperatures were at the mid 80's, with people swimming in the swim areas, and its only April 1st! We were taking pics and looking at sites on the peninsula arm, which was closed last year due to flooding. Looks like the Corp did it right, and this will be a popular campground with many bringing their boats pulling up by their sites. We're there in 2 weeks, along with Memorial Day & Labor Day weekends!

Thanks. While we were there, a big fishing tournament was going on by the boat ramp. We might not have those expensive fishing rod & reels, but we sure do have fun catching what we can! Just love to get out there on the water even if we do get skunked every once and awhile.

Thanks for the pictures of this campground. I was checking this campground out to night on the web. I be at Table Rock State Park Campground this week.

First of April, 87 degrees in Saint Joseph and we are ready to go camping. Hope this weather doesn't mean a really hot summer.

I think there is always a fishing tournament going on someplace on Table Rock Lake, at least every weekend. There are some huge bass to be caught if you know where to look for them. Unfortunately I have no idea where those spots might be.

I'm putting the Mill Creek campground on my list of COE park to visit in the future. Thanks for sharing.

We really like Table Rock State Park also, but the Park Ranger can be a real stinker about your pet & vehicle parked slightly off the site pad. They are more forgiving during holiday weekends because of a shortage of parking, but over-all its a great place to camp(we love campground #2 with full-hookups). Here's a couple more pics of Mill Creek C.G. All these sites are water/electric with 50 amp service.
