Latches for drawers

Our Sunseeker is only 4 months old and it appears that the plastic latches that hook and close the drawers are pathetic. They keep breaking and my husband has to take the drawer out and take them apart and reattach. Does anyone have any decent replacements maybe made of something other than plastic I can get to replace these sad ones? These are not worth the time to keep doing this.
Thanks

I think you are talking about the drawer guides with soft close...and the soft close comes loose?

Here is one from Lowe’s

I think this is where Norm bought his stuff...he mentioned on the show.

No I mean the plastic hook. Part is on the drawer and part is inside. They are cheap and black plastic. I would love to replace with something a little more sturdy and would not break easy

I went to Lowe’s and bought magnetic drawer latches and put 2 sets on each drawer. One set per drawer wasn’t sufficient — two sets hold well.

Sounds like you mean the "catches" that keep drawers and cabinet doors closed like in 1st photo?

I replaced most of our cheapo roller catches with Southco Grabber catches like in the 2nd photo. They come in different pull ratings, 5 to 20 lbs. Got them on Amazon. If you go to an RV parts vendor, JR Products makes them too.

With either one, it's important to have both pieces accurately aligned. I've seen some of them installed VERY poorly by RV factories.

The Grabber catches are also available with a built-in micro-switch. I put one on the pantry door and cabinet door under the sink along with an LED strip. When the doors are opened, they're well lit and it makes it easy to find things.

I bought these after two of mine broke. Seem to be holding up.
