Leak in shut off.

Well here I am asking for advice again. I have a shut off by my hot water heater that has a small leak. Limited space to work as usual. Has anyone had any luck with water proof tape or seal stick? Thanks.

I don't think tape or stick will stick to pex piping well enough. The best bet is to redo the connection with a band clamp or sharkbite fitting.

Is the leak at a joint or out the stem of the valve?

I cut out the old shutoff. I can’t believe the junk valves they put on these. It had part of a washer sticking out of the back of the shutoff. It was so hard to find because it was a real small spray. Ace hardware in Fort Myers they have everything. There staff is [emoji106]
