LED lights on the frame

Had anyone installed LED lights on the frame of their camper? I am looking to do this and was looking for advice. I figure I will wire them to the battery and install a toggle switch to power them. Just looking to see if that is the right way to go and if people have had problems with the lights burning out due to weather. Thank you and Happy Camping!

It might be worth doing a search for “pack rats.” One deterant for those is some lighting under an RV, you might find some info how they would do the lighting.

I put two strings of LED lights under the camper. One goes from the side to the front the other from the side to the rear. They ring the entire perimeter of my 21 foot camper. They are attached with zip ties with the grommet on them so that a screw can be put into the grommet to screw to the underside of the floor. I used the 110 VAC type LED lights and plug them into an extension cord at electric supplied campgrounds. The lights are out of the weather and have worked now for about 6 years.
