My wife and I went on our 30th camping trip in our first TT. We bought it exactly 2 years ago.
62 miles each way to Hawn St Park is Ste Gen MO.

Also, spent all day Saturday at the Ste Gen wineries. Nothing better than a winery while camping!

We drove about 100 to prospect a camping spot...found a beauty at loop 1 and 2 at Dierks lake in Dierks Arkansas. On the water and nice spots...only thing I didn't like is one shower for two loops. They had three restrooms, but one shower house.

I've camped at Hawn a couple of times. You should stop by Midway Bar and Grill on 32 right before the turnoff to the park. They have FANTASTIC food. There is a new winery on Y highway (Bloomsdale) about 8 miles west of I-55, in the town of French Village. I watched the owners fix up the old building over the last couple of years. It seems like a really nice place.

But if you want the best in camping in wine country, Herman City Park is a great destination, provided you spring for the full hookup sites. PM me if you want some info.

Took a short 50 mile trip to Orlando and back to Lake Whipporwill KOA. Going over: 58 mph and 10.9 mpg. Coming home: 60 mph and 10.3 mpg. 2200 rpm at trans temp of 155 average with tow/haul enabled and cruise control on. I like keeping stats, haha. Getting a ton more comfortable pulling and was able to one-hand the steering wheel quite a bit. 1 bottle of Jack Daniels Honey and 12 Miller Lite's consumed. Here is the sunrise over the lake on 7/19:

Left home June 27 to pick up DW in Shipshewana. Camped at Indiana Dunes SP, McCormac Creek SP, Spring Mills SP, Turkey Run SP, Kentucky Horse Park, Cave City Kentucky and left for home yesterday. Will be home tonight and will be getting ready to head back to Goshen.
Don't have mileage, but truck computer says I'm getting 12.4 mpg.

Towed 5'ver from an elevation of 200' to over 1200'...got 10.65mpgs with cruise set at 62mph.
Traveled back home with no 5'ver, decided to experiment cruising unloaded at 60mph...got 23.25 MPG's! It was brutal driving at that speed unloaded but wow, gotta love those numbers from a 7K lb diesel truck

9.3 mpg average on a 10 day trip from Clearwater to Key West with overnight stops in between and some sightseeing in KW. About 981 miles in total. Ridgeline and a Rockwood 2306.

Love our LBZ, through the NC,TN mountains, we averaged 12mpg both ways, just got back from VA beach, 13mpg all hand calculated, cruise at 63mph, T/H mode, 5th gear through the mountains, 6th on the flats, best part is you can't tell it's behind us til we hit a mountain. 5er comes in at 9,000lbs dry so not too big.
