leveling

What is common practice on leveling Georgetown 37'8" slides in or out first?

I asked our PDI guy this and he said always level first, then put slides out, as that is what he learned in his factory training from Forest River.

I've seen it both ways - some say level first, some say slide out first...(which is what prompted my question during the PDI)

In the manual for my slides it says to level before you put the slide out. I would assume the slide could bind up if not level. My TT slides may be different than on a Georgetown...
