Levelmate Pro

Recently purchased a Levelmate Pro leveling system for my 2014 Coachman 248 Freedom Express TT. I would like some input as to the best location to install the unit in my TT.
Thanks

I have had mine for about 4 years and love it..I mounted it above the door leading to the front bedroom. Has been great. No hassles leveling with the Anderson levelers

I have a Cherokee 26dbh and I installed mine in the cabinet below the TV in the living area. This is the wall that separates the bedroom from the rest of the trailer. I love it. It makes leveling the trailer so easy.

Installed ours right inside the door. Positioned it so we don't have to deploy the pull down steps to turn it on.

Do you have the manual? HERE is a PDF that you can download. It covers the 2nd generation LMP.

Follow the guide in the manual to select a location (see below). If you have a Fiver or a TT, you should make sure that the location you have chosen will allow the LMP's signal to reliably reach the driver's position in your TV. You may need to experiment with each of the suggested positions until the signal is easily received on your phone/tablet. Use small Command strips to temporarily affix the LMP during this process.

Once you have found a suitable position, continue to follow the guide's instructions. One important note: during the initial LMP setup process, make sure all your slides are out before you manually level your RV. Retract the slides and THEN set the LMP to level. Setting the "level" state this way accounts for any "side-lean" imparted by the slides' deployment.

HTH!

Put it somewhere that is convenient for changing the battery, although the battery will last a long time.

Installed mine right next to my driver chair on the class A. Don't have to leave my seat to activate.

Secured it to the wall with this tape so I didn't have to drill holes in the wall.

It's a great tool that I love.

We have one, and it works great. Just be sure to mount it to a solid location. I mounted ours in the very front of our V-nose, in a closet, on the wall panel. When things were hung in the closet and placed on the shelf, it slightly moved the Levelmate, and made it show out of level. I suggest mounting it to a piece of lumber on a cabinet, not to a wall panel.

Great idea. I didn't want to see it so I hid it in the cabinet. But now that you mentioned not having to take out the steps I think I am going to reconsider my placement. Thanks.

I bought the version with the USB connection to have it permanently connected to the 12vdc and I don’t have to worry about the battery. I installed it above my control panel to have easy access to the 12vdc power.
