Life ain't fair...

Hey all,
You know, I am sitting her camping in our MH looking at the Sac. river right out the front windshield and thinking how bad the weather sucks..rain, wind, geez...BUT we need to take a moment and think how well we have it. Just watch how Japan right now is struggling with 3 bad events.....to have the nerve to complain about weather, I am humbled. I am thinking of the people in Japan who will pull through this as they are a strong culture. The 50 men who stayed at the reactor are true heros, knowing they will not have much of a future, but will sacrefice for their family and countrymen. I would hope the US still portriats these values...

God bless you Japan,
Barney

Well said, Barney. We have a more personal interest in the Japan saga as son and d-i-l (who's Japanese) live in Chiba City, across Tokyo Bay from downtown. He works for a French company's Oriental division.

Fortunately, they're OK so far, apart from a hectic 36 hours trying to get home after the quake. Chiba is separated from the Pacific coast by a peninsula, so the tsunami swept by without affecting them.

Agree 100%. This is a tragedy of epic proportion and our hearts and prayers go out to the people of Japan. Thanks for posting Barney and F and E, glad to hear your loved ones are safe and sound.

Our prayers are with everyone in Japan. Glad to hear that your loved ones are safe F and E Damp. Thanks Barney for reminding us that we're very fortunate to be dealing with small issues when there are so many in a very serious situation.
