Sounds like the converter. If it's not supplying 12V properly (or at all ) your battery will do all of the 12V work and will eventually go dead if it's not being charged. A quick way to check it is disconnect the battery while plugged in, or throw the disconnect switch, and see if everything still works.

Yep converter. We had that problem a few years ago. That was our problem.

My in-laws had the same symptom last year. Turned out to be a bad battery. They had two batteries on their rig...only 1 went bad. We could clearly tell which one was bad because the bad one was very warm to the touch as compared to the other battery.

How old is your camper/converter? Ours had a 2 year warranty on it. I just sent a copy of our purchase order on our camper and the bad converter and they sent me a new one at no cost. Now we have a spare. That being said, we will probably never have that happen again. Knock on wood.

Problem is if you had an inferior wfco converter then you now have another installed and a spare to boot.
Likely you'll need it. [emoji12]

lights dimming

I just ordered a Progressive Dynamic converter. My one year old WFCO that came with the 5r went bad.
After some internet homework it seems that the WFC model I had has a history of losing the ability for some reason to "bulk" charge during heavy usage.
I'm not saying that WFCO is junk. My experience is obviously limited with them but if I replace something I like to upgrade. Heard and read nothing but good things about the PD converters. I also liked the display feature. It might just be an idiot light but at least I'll know it's working.

My converter is a parallax converter. The new one that I bought and replaced the bad one with has been going strong now for 3 years. The replacement that I received is still new in the package tucked away in the camper. Just in case it happens again while on vacation. BTW, which progressive dynamics converter did you purchase and how did you know which one matched up to your campers need.

I had a 55 amp converter and went with a 60 amp from PD. It'll be fine.
