Any suggestions on living in RV while home is being built about 9 months
Things to prepare RV for maintenance wise.
Thanks in advance

We didn’t do anything special to the RV for long term staying in it other than making sure everything was working properly. We did add some shelves and storage totes so we had room for all of the stuff we wanted to keep near.

It also depends on where you are located. If you're in cold weather territory, you'll have to prepare for winterizing the water system.

Make sure you RV insurance covers full time living. I have Progressive, and you have to upgrade to that option if you are using the camper for full time, which is defined as usage more than 6 months out of the year.

We've been living in our 26ft TT for 9 months, while our new house was being built.
We did nothing different from our regular camping routine.
Actually had less maintenance since we traveled much less.
The biggest challenge was being in such a small space for that long.
Fortunately we sign papers on Monday and get our keys. Now we have to have everything moved in and we have to organize things.

Just something to keep in mind. Amost all (almost) RV Manfs will void the warranty if you stay in the rig full-time.

Setup the infrastructure your trailer will need i.e. propane, power, water and waste. We have a 550 gal water tank, 200 gal propane tank and 500 gal septic holding tank. The local porta-potty company comes to empty it as needed. Solar and battery bank would make life much easier.

You might consider enclosing the area under the RV if cold weather is a consideration.
