Might be able to replace with one with a locking door. I replaced mine with one with a door but no lock. Also replaced my city water with one that was recessed and built in pressure regulator. Happy with both mods.

They come in white, too.

Valterra also makes them.

Any lock you buy for your access to water won't even keep an honest person out. Frankly, I'd just put a discreet piece of tape or something similar, over the cap that would show if someone tampered. If they did, sanitize.

48 years of camping in many types of rv's. Never heard of the problem your worried about.
Besides, any type of locking cap, or locking compartment can be defeated with a 10 cent rusty screwdriver.

Try leaving a hose connected to it.

Or camp at nicer spots.

You're welcome.

In my 40+ years of camping, I've never heard of that ever being an issue, but these are changing times so I suppose you can't be too careful. *sigh*

Can't hook a hose to a gravity fill.

Locking gas cap, locking lug nuts, bring in the grill, chairs, table cloth, lock up the bikes inside, secure all doors, deadbolt the main door, set the alarm.
All done, now we can go to the pool.

I’d give up “camping” if I had to fool with all of that!

I have the same, one only with out the lock, just a twist catch. I liked the fact it sat flush against the side. Also installed a recessed city water connection with built in pressure regulator.

Put your sealant around the opening and screw it into the wall. Once dry, it will not move. Mine has been there for 4 years. Dicor acts as a good glue.

This one above is what I installed on my Signature 8310SS.

This one from Amazon from msbilton (Post 4) looks pretty decent too. (Corrected address here)
