We love our trailer. It is just the wife and I plus two Greyhounds and a little Pomeranian. Gets a little crowded in there with the dogs at times until we get the settled up on the bed but otherwise just comfy. Before we bought it last year we had started out with a brand new 12foot tent trailer and after about 5 or 6 outings we were not happy with it and traded up to the Wildwood. I am not sure what you will be towing it with, we tow ours with a four cylinder Toyota Tacoma so we have to watch the weight as it pushes the limits on our truck but if you have something a little larger you should be fine.
As far as any tips, as with any hybrid from what I have read on here the bggest thing is condensation in the bed ends in cooler weather. The more you can circulate the air around in the there the drier they will stay. Some have suggested Popup Gizmos which are like a blanket that you put on the outside to insulate it and keep the condensation down. I usually just use a towel and wipe down the fabric well and then let the bunk fan do the rest.
I also keep an old shammi handy for when packing up, if it is abit rainy or wet from dew I will use it to wipe down and dry the outer fabric before closing up the beds. Speaking of beds, I am not sure what kind of mattresses you have with your trailer but I found our mattresses to be a bit on the thin side and bought a good memory foam topper to go on top. Makes a big difference.
Aside from that the only suggestion I have is to get out and enjoy it. If you have any questions during or after your first trip, let me know.
