Login Screen: Secured?

I noticed that when I'm loggin in I don't see the https:.... where the "s" indicates it's secured. Is it truely not secured? I'm logging in from China for the next few weeks and don't want any problems.

Thanks

Hope you have a nice trip. Question is, why do want this to be secured? We don't sell anything, take your credit card number, address, or any sensitive info. This is a public forum, just people sitting around the campfire talking about camping, mostly. It just happens our fire pit is the internet. The only time I worry about a secure site is when I'm sending sensitive/personal info, such as credit card number, address, etc.

So bring a chair, pull up to our internet fire circle, listen and learn, or speak and teach. Your option. Join in when you can, always somebody here.

Exactly !!! and that's why I get a little antsy when occasionally I see folks adding their full names, addresses, phone numbers, etc, to their posts. That's what PM's are for.
