We have a Funtown RV here. They have a horrible reputation when it comes to service after the sale. Unit may be nice, just don't plan on using Funtown for any type of service or warranty work.

Why the comments about Funtown RV? I understood the OP was trying to get someone to talk him out of buying Some Other Brand. How did particular dealerships get involved?

Like most forums a thread seems to morph at around 20 posts.

We have a Cedar Creek and we have had very good support from the factory. My Creek is a 2014 model and the factory paid for replacing the rear cap this year. If I buy another camper it will be another Cedar Creek

I was just responding to post #15. They found one the original poster liked, but at a Funtown location.
Sorry if that post bothers you, did not mean to offend.

I was just looking for a bunkhouse that the op might liked and that dealer was the first one that popped up. I was just telling the op that the Blue Ridge 3720BH was still being made

No, it didn’t bother me. Thanks for the explanation. I couldn’t find a reference to “Funtown” by doing a Search. Your reference to post 15 revealed the reference to ‘fun town’. Whooda thunk?

I see you’re from Denton. I lived in Highland Village and Lake Dallas before moving to the country in Grayson County. I was a dealer trade driver for the James Wood GM dealership before I moved.

Well how about that. We have a couple of good friends that drive for James Wood in Denton, David and Berniece. Also Wendy, in Used Sales, is our neighbor. We have bought a lot of cars and trucks down there at the dealership.

This is not a Riverstone but Cardinal seems to be a high quality unit. Has an an outdoor kitchen and a bunkhouse of sorts plus 2 full baths.

We are in a very similar situation. I am wanting to get a fifth wheel toy hauler ( golf cart or bike). Forest River doesn't make one with a layout we like. Grand design does with solitude and momentum. The Cardinal we have has been a good Rv but we like what we like.

I wouldn’t fret too much. You did say you are looking for quality. They may look nice on paper, but you will be sorry you spent the time to find one as soon as you walk through the door.
