Looking for rear living area RV

Looking to buy a new camper. We want a new camper with rear living area. Currently have a rockwood mini-lite with Murphy bed Model # 2507S. Just too small for the wife and me. What do you recommend for a new travel trailer/ Thanks Scott

Probably would help if you posted what your tow vehicle is and its specs.
It's not listed in your profile.

We have a Flagstaff 29KSWS. it's just the DW, a Siberian Husky and 2 mini Doxys 99% of the time. It has a large open living are in the back. The floor plan is in my signature. Dry weight is about 6700 and max loaded is about 8400 pounds. We love then openness of the living space.

Rockwood 2650ws has 2 opposing slides at the rear. Heaps of room but it's a 5th wheel.

Flagstaff 832IKBS has a rear living room, decent sized shower, toilet position doesn't make you feel like your lacking space, full size queen bed and plenty of storage.

Rear Living Area

We have a Flagstaff 35 ft WRLIKS and love the rear living area. Bumper tow and we have a 2017 Ford F250 gasser.

for space the Rockwood signature ultra lite 8282 ws for my family was the perfect choice. They are no longer made 2014 was the last year but a good unit not sure why they stopped but have not found anything I like better. it is a 5th wheel and I would recommend pulling with a 250/2500 vehicle but the current cost of a used unit is 15 to 18 k

Rockwood 8329SS (clone of the Flagstaff 832IKBS) owner here. Absolutely, hands-down the BEST floor-plan I have ever seen in camper. Roomy, comfy and thoughtfully laid out. Especially for a bumper pull travel trailer.

Depends ~~ we were content for up to 10-14 days in a 35' 5er. Now on the road 2 - 3 months or more at a time and 43' suits the 2 of us and a small dog best.

What's the payload capacity, since it's more important than towing capacity for 5th wheels.

Love my 27reis . Nice living room. Heavy at 7700 lbs. Towed nice with my Yukon Denali 6.2liter. At my max though.

That eliminates both the Flagstaff 832IKBS and Rockwood 8329SS.
Once you add the battery and 2x 30# propane plus anything else you carry with you, your gonna be very close if not over. My 832IKBS weighs 9110 with 1120 tongue weight. That's with nothing else in it, no water, clothing, anything.

Yes we have the same trailer in the Flagstaff series. Same layout and made on the same assembly line just different trim options. Not a whole lot bigger than you currently have but give you rear living area and lots of storage as well as great kitchen counter space.
