Major Downsize

On my last trip to Fort Wilderness in the Premium site, noticed a significant change. Not as many Class A Rigs and maybe 60% Travel Trailer or 5ERs.

So, my wife and I looked at our 32' Coachmen Mirada that we really only use because we bring our puppy, decided maybe now is the time to downsize.
I have no issue parking Class A Rigs - right up to my previous 38' Diesel Pusher.
I am terribly concerned about a 26' (29' with hitch) Travel Trailer.

I have already purchased a 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat with the automatic trailer backup system and will be taking some lessons soon. We all know how tight it can be a Fort Wilderness. Especially if the person across the street parks right up to the road edge.

My main concern is - we are looking at a 6-month old Travel Trailer. My question is do I need to purchase an extended warranty?
I always have with my previous 9 RVs - just not sure about a travel trailer. Please advise.

We went through a similar thing a couple of years ago. With the kids grown and just my wife and our two tiny dogs we decided to down size. Now we went from a crew cab Chevrolet 2500 and a 36' 5er 3 slide to a small Colorado Chevrolet and a small Scamp 5er which has no slides. That was to much of a jump. We now are back to a 2500 and a 24.7 5er with one slide. Perfect for us right now.

How many of those 9 extended warranties did you use? That should give a clue.
